Developed in collaboration with county, state, and federal agencies, Behavioral Threat Assessment Team (BTAT) Training equips school professionals with the critical knowledge needed to identify, assess, and manage potential threats of targeted violence on campus.

This comprehensive course provides valuable insights into the proactive strategies and investigative techniques used by BTAT teams to prevent violence before it occurs. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of:
  • Effective investigative and operational techniques to assess and mitigate risks.
  • Behavioral recognition to proactively prevent acts of violence.
  • Proactive intervention strategies to intercept potential threats.
  • The thought-action behavioral continuum and its role in threat assessment.
  • Identifying key warning behaviors to enhance early detection.
  • Understanding the essential roles of professionals within a BTAT.
